Next the monuments team moved to Section S and started by reconstructing the Vaeth family all marble obelisk which was found in five pieces. First bricks and stones were added to the existing foundation then compacted and checked for level. Next each piece was added and checked for level. The top or capital which was found completely buried, was gently dug out by first losing the soil on each side then hand digging to expose the rest of this piece.
