Moving along today the headstones resetting operations proceeded down Rows H and I. Foundations were uncovered and the surface levelled with concrete and shims when needed. The base of the stone was set in place and the stone itself reset. Mortar was used when the surfaces were rough and stone adhesive when the surfaces were smooth as in marble. In a follow up operation, a concrete collar will be added when the stone is broken at the bottom or if additional support is needed. Also, the base area will be levelled with soil in a follow up operation. The resetting of headstones is funded with $50 donation per headstone. Thank You.
