Posting flags in honor and remembrance of Veteran’s for Memorial Day 2025 at Woodland Cemetery. Pictured (l to r) are Sean Hogan, Tom Hiler and Michael Woomer. Tom, a Vietnam Veteran, is also a past commander at Post 344. Sean and Michael are members of the Sons of The American Legion Squadron #344 Rockaway Township. Placing flags at veteran headstones for Memorial Day at Woodland Cemetery is a tradition Michael started originally with his wife Fay some 20+ years ago. Michael is also past camp commander of Phillip Kearny Camp #20 Sons of Union Veterans of The Civil War. Over 75 flags were posted this day. Thank you everyone for your work.
