Recently Greek decedents have inquired about their Greek ancestors buried in Sections 1000 and 1400 at Woodland Cemetery and have organized workdays to clean up these areas starting with Section 1400. While unconfirmed these two sections appear to have been chosen by the parishes of St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church and St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church. Both parishes are from an earlier time in Newark. This book which tells a great visual story of Greeks in Newark is available on loan from West Orange NJ Library.
