While driving by this day Anthony Barisciano of the Newark Fire Department stopped in to catch up on what was going on at the cemetery. He was very interested in learning about the cemetery history and current activity. As we walked and talked, we ended up at the grave of John Williams (Section Y Plot 243) a former NFD firefighter from a very earlier time. Anthony was going to contact the fire department historian and indicated he would return with his fellow firefighters to honor John Williams.
