Over many years this Oak Tree has grown tall, large and against this corner of our Gothic Gatehouse.
Realizing that this large tree could severely damage the Gatehouse through continued growth and especially as it sways in the wind, the tree and the stump were removed as a priority.
Still with a long process ahead of us, we have now taken the first steps towards the saving of our Gothic Gatehouse.
