Picking up where operations left off in March in Section “Y” we resumed pulling weed trees and resetting fallen monuments on this day. The work is hard and more extensive as the roots are very long and the fallen monuments are very heavy, but if you look in the distance of the first picture you see the progress of past work. Since the weed tree stumps continually send up suckers and spread through their roots, pulling is the only proven method we have found so far to stop the spread of weed trees.
