The Schwarz monument located in Section Y Plot 47 was found leaning with the top angel off and broken in two pieces. Concerned that the weight of the angel could cause the monument to further lean and eventually topple over, the monument was completely disassembled. Next the existing foundation was leveled and compacted with bricks added for additional strength and stability. The monument was then reassembled with each piece checked to be level and plumb. The angel which, was found broken in two pieces, was rejoined with masonry adhesive and then reset back on top using adhesive again to secure and seal it in its original location. A beautiful monument put back together and watching over the area.
