This very heavy headstone was found lying down partial buried for what must have been many years. A tripod was used to hoist the heavy stone up which was first grouted to the original base and then a concrete collar was added to secure the stone in place. This stone is now on full display in its upright position a true early monument standing out in the area. This marker is for Karl Weigel grave 1R and Dorothea Weigel grave 2R located in Section S Plot 55.
