With many weed trees already cut down by our landscaper and stacked along side the internal roadways surrounding Sections 1, Q, Y and M, a tree service was hired to chip, clean up, dispose of and further address many downed limbs and branches throughout the maintained area of the cemetery.

Laura Shackleford was born a slave on a plantation in Bainbridge, GA, in 1861 and lived to be 100.
