The pulling of stumps in Section Y is a continuing process. Completely pulling the weed tree stump is the only way we have found that ends the return growth of a weed tree. This removal is also the most difficult step in the restoration process. Today we rented a 40cy dumpster from “Cheap Disposal” and filled it with the three piles of stockpiled stumps from previous day’s work plus the removals done this day. The stumps were packed down to insure maximum capacity in the dumpster. This clearing work is funded by donations.
