Posting flags in honor and remembrance of Veteran’s for Memorial Day 2023 at Woodland Cemetery. Pictured (l to r) are Wesley Shelton who served in the Air Force stationed in Alaska and is committed to remember veterans. Also, Sean Hogan and Michael Woomer who are members of the Sons of The American Legion Squadron #344 Rockaway Township. Placing flags at veteran headstones for Memorial Day at Woodland Cemetery is a tradition Michael started originally with his wife Fay some 20 years ago. Michael is also past camp commander of Phillip Kearny Camp #20 Sons of Union Veterans of The Civil War. Over 100 flags were posted this day. Thank you everyone for your work.
