Scouts clean up

Eight scouts showed up at Woodland Cemetery on 7-29-2020 supervised by Scout Master Patti Poland and Wes Shelton.   One cub scout from Pack 88 and six boy scouts from Troop 88, both groups from Hopatcong NJ. The eighth scout is from Troop 98 out of Hopatcong, NJ. Overall six scouts earn community service hours and two scouts earned credit towards their Environmental (Historic) Preservation Merit Badge. They all worked very hard and helped cleanup the fallen brush in Section 1 and then proceeded to help reset fallen headstones.  Great job everyone and you certainly left this area in better condition than how you found it.  Go forth and be prepared. Thank you from the Managers of Woodland Cemetery.
